Repairing Hybrid and Electric Vehicles is very different from repairing normal vehicles because of high voltage electricity elements.
Voltages present in electric and hybrid vehicles (EHVs) are significantly higher than those used in other vehicles and can go up to 650 Volts. In dry conditions, accidental contact with parts above 110 Volts dc can be fatal. Therefore specialist tools and safety equipment are required to work, together with manufacturer training and well-skilled staff.
